Hekinos was founded on a conviction: that preventing radicalisation and rebuilding trust require more than technical frameworks, it demands careful analysis, honesty, and courage.Born from years of work across violent extremism prevention, disinformation analysis, and community resilience, Hekinos brings together research, strategy, and narrative expertise to help institutions and organisations think clearly in a fog of complexity.

We analyse how people come to believe, belong, and break away, and what that means for those designing policies, programmes, or communications around them. Our work spans from assessing ideological and behavioural risks to reframing institutional responses in ways that are human, realistic, and credible.

From academic research at King’s College London and Georgetown University to practical work in European and international contexts, our experience shapes Hékinos’ distinctive approach: combining intellectual rigour with real-world pragmatism. We have worked across governmental, international, and civil society settings, leading research and advising on CVE strategy, programme design, and communication approaches.
